Optimal RDN Solutions, LLC is a professional service provider of Registered Dietitians to healthcare communities with a commitment to developing positive work relationships.
Our Mission
To provide excellent patient-centered outcomes in nutrition care and food services to healthcare organizations.
Our Vision
As members of the health care team, Registered Dietitian Nutritionists engage patients and families in promoting healthful food choices through meal planning to optimize nutritional status. Our RDNs support culinary services in the provision of quality dining experiences that cater to specific needs.
Optimal RDN Solutions has grown because of a proven track record for providing quality service and a commitment to developing positive work relationships. It has maintained regulatory compliance and has successfully completed many surveys with zero deficiencies. All the RDNs are qualified experts in providing nutrition assessment, recommending appropriate interventions and providing accurate documentation. The RDNs have been credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration after completion of a B.S. in Nutrition & Dietetics approved by the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics and/or a MPH or MS in Nutrition.
Services are customized to meet the needs of each facility and the RDN’s are engaged for their effective interpersonal communication skills as well as technical expertise. The RDN consultant works with the client’s systems to provide professional dietetic services as requested by the client. In addition to basic RDN coverage, professional “mock surveys” of Food & Nutrition Services for compliance to State and Federal Regulations are available upon request.
Optimal RDN Solutions welcomes the opportunity to meet with your facility management and explore any current or future needs you may have for consulting RDN services.
Sincerely,
Christina Rehngren, R.D.N.

WHAT’S AN RDN?
The acronym RDN stands for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. Those that have RDN attached to their name have completed at least a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, acquired 1200 hours of supervised practice within a professional nutrition-based field, and passed a national board exam. Once this has been completed, RDNs must maintain 75 continuing education units every five years to remain up-to-date with emerging research and maintain certification.
